About Me

My name is Christos Karapanos and I currently live in Aridea, a small town in Greece. I'm a freelance illustrator and my work is mainly inspired by the world of fantasy. I have always had a very good relationship with painting, but I started to take it more seriously when I bought my first computer at the age of 22. Since digital art could give me more options and possibilities, I decided to exclusively work with it. I started working mostly with Photoshop as self-taught in free-hand drawing. I am influenced by mythology, metal music and fairy tales. I have worked on book covers, Tarot cards, cd covers, tattoo designs, games, advertising and more.
